Raw hair behaves like hair, not like a product. These are the procedures we give our own customers — washing, installing, storing — written so a bundle lasts years rather than months.
Post 01: How to wash raw hair without stripping it
Raw hair has no silicone coating to hide behind, so washing is where most bundles are won or lost. Twenty minutes, done properly, buys you months.
Washing · All raw bundles, closures and frontals · About 30 minutes, plus drying
Post 02: Installing a closure so the parting stays believable
A closure fails at the parting or not at all. Most of the work is in the first ten minutes, before anything is sewn or glued down.
Installing · 4x4 and 6x6 closures, 13x4 frontals · Two to three hours for a full install
Post 03: Storing bundles between installs
Most bundles are not damaged while they are being worn. They are damaged in a drawer, in a plastic bag, still dirty from the last install.
Storing · Bundles, closures, wigs and units not in use · Fifteen minutes
